PATIN-WAX is a high-quality wax for costume breakdown effects. The 'clean' way to soil and age costumes. PATIN-WAX is a break down stick in a plastic dispenser. We offer a selection of 12 colours and a neutral stick without pigments (brightener). Professional quality. After application the wax can be worked in with your fingers (the warmth of the fingers melts the wax which penetrates the fabric very nicely), thus achieving a very expressive break down.
Nearly all PATIN-WAX colours wash out (or dry-clean) easily from most fabrics, but you may need to use a stain-remover, and/or an iron and blotting paper.
But, as always, do a test wash beforehand. Best results are achieved by dry cleaning; grease and wax will come out easily this way. Please keep in mind: high-quality materials or costumes should be tested prior to chemical exposure.
